Join CEO and Founder of ExQ, Sucheta Kamath and Dr. Noris Price, Superintendent of Baldwin Country Schools for a FREE Workshop at the GAEL Annual Winter Conference. The topic of their presentation is Developing the Executive Function Skills of School and District Leaders.
A key factor in retention and job satisfaction of teachers and school leaders is resiliency, the skills needed to have adaptive responses to hardships even when exposed to adversity. With a growing teacher and leader burn-out, compounded with the COVID pandemic’s incremental stress levels and increased conflict, schools are facing growing risk factors that are impeding our teachers and leaders’ abilities to cultivate and maintain healthy work/life balance. We will share how we implemented a new focus on providing Professional Development in Executive Function skills to retain our teachers and school leaders. We’ll showcase how we implemented Executive Function training with our partner ExQ starting with a Leadership Workshop and a series of Professional Development initiatives; best practices for optimal growth; and the progress measures used to ensure that teachers and school leaders are equipped with a personalized learning plan.
We’d love to spend some time with you at the Conference, share a cup of coffee to discuss how Georgia’s educational leaders are partnering with ExQ to implement Executive Function curriculum around the country, and explore ways to bring ExQ’s innovative curriculum to your school or practice to help build the Executive Function skills needed to succeed in school and in life!
