2021 GSHA Honors of the Association Award – given by the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (GSHA) during the annual conference in 2021 in recognition of longstanding involvement in GSHA and lifetime professional achievement in the field of communication sciences and disorders.
2019 GSHA President’s Gavel Award – given by the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (GSHA) during the annual conference in 2019 in recognition of outstanding service to GSHA.
Award of Clinical Excellence (ACE) – granted by American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) in 2022, 2020, 2019, 2016, 2013, 2002, 2000, 1999, 1997 and 1996. It is a formal recognition of professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning by earning 7.0 ASHA continuing education units (CEUs), the equivalent of 70 contact hours, within a 36-month period.
Hardin Community Partner Award – given by Georgia Works! in 2018. This award is presented to an exceptional individual for believing in and supporting the Georgia Works! mission to end homelessness, criminal recidivism and dependency through programs aimed at personal development in good habits, work ethic and character.
Guest of Honor and Speaker at the Vibha Annual Conference – granted by the Vibha organization in 2017 for distinguished and invaluable contributions during the Annual Conference in Atlanta.
Professional Achievement Award – given by the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (GSHA) in 2016.
