Join us for a FREE Professional Development Workshop for GSHA Members at the 2023 Annual GSHA Convention.
SLPs at Georgia Speech-Language Hearing Association’s 2023 Annual Convention in Savannah, GA, join Sucheta Kamath, CEO & Founder, ExQ® for a new professional development workshop to learn more about the expert to entrepreneur path for Speech-Language Pathologists.
“Innovation is seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought.” These words by the Hungarian biochemist Dr. Albert Szent- Györgyi are the blueprint for personal entrepreneurship. Based on our specialized training, helpful nature of our profession and strong interpersonal communication skills, SLPs make great entrepreneurs. The rise in an e-commerce and social marketing platforms have made way for creative minds and experienced clinicians to create and package their niche methods, ideas, and even services to meet the demands and solve problems at the same time. The question is, is this everyone’s cup of tea?
This session is designed for speech-language pathologists to learn about the expert-to-entrepreneur path, identify characteristics within themselves for becoming an entrepreneur and finally, figure out ways to take concrete steps to achieve the goals they have for themselves.
