As an educational leader, how are you meeting your students’ social-emotional and Executive Function needs?
Success in school depends on well-developed work habits, a positive mindset, a flexible attitude and a willingness to work hard. These traits are known as Executive Function (EF). EF skills are interconnected with social-emotional learning (SEL), which is the process through which individuals understand and manage emotions, show empathy, set goals, maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions.
ExQ for School combines online games, error analysis, metacognitive reflection lessons and an individualized teaching methodology to help you directly and explicitly train your students to enhance their EF boss brain in order to stress less and achieve more!

Time Commitment
The ExQ curriculum is packed with daily lesson plans, ideas to stretch conversations surrounding Executive Function and building a meaningful school culture, extra learning ideas, and in-depth resources about both Executive Function and Social-Emotional Learning. While there is enough included for a daily class period, we understand this may not be feasible for every school. With 20 lessons in its year-long program, ExQ simply asks for a minimum time commitment of 1-2 sessions per week of 30-60 minutes each. You have the autonomy to determine the best plan of action for your school-specific needs.
