IN THEIR WORDS / STUDENTS
Ella Hester Student
Since using ExQ, Ella has seen a big improvement in her ability to set and achieve goals. While she initially found ExQ’s activities a bit challenging, she quickly adapted and discovered how they strengthened her problem-solving and learning skills. Now, she enjoys the interactive elements, like rating her own progress and learning from videos, which have made her more confident and engaged in learning. With a goal of joining the military to support children with disabilities, Ella is building the skills she needs to succeed.
Morgan Ray Student
Before ExQ, Morgan Ray struggled with planning, organization, and knowing how to take the next step toward his goals. Now, he regularly cleans out his book bag to stay organized, sets clear goals with a vision board, and understands how to more efficiently map out his future. ExQ helped him recognize both strengths and weaknesses, pushing him to work on lessening procrastination and become more self-aware. He’s learned to approach situations with empathy rather than ego and to apply strategic thinking beyond academics; even in basketball, where slowing down helps him see the game more clearly. Morgan Ray describes ExQ as “very helpful,” especially the coaching, which provided direct feedback and strategies for improvement.
Nyveah, Student
Before training with ExQ, Nyveah believed she could pass tests without studying, but now she actively takes notes, uses flashcards, and prepares ahead of time. She’s learned that asking for help reduces stress and makes learning easier, rather than struggling alone. Through ExQ, she’s developed emotional resilience; she no longer gives up easily, takes her time, and keeps
pushing through challenges.
